Monitoring & Evaluation of the governmental anti-corruption measures

Consistent, systematic and rational counteraction to corruption is impossible without diagnostics of the ongoing processes in society. The most important tool is anti-corruption monitoring, which is aimed at identifying patterns of changes in the state of corruption to ensure the development and implementation of anti-corruption measures.

Anti-corruption monitoring is a measuring instrument of the state of corruption, its causes and the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures taken.

Objectivity in measuring the state of corruption, its causes and effectiveness, and anti-corruption measures taken will increase the effectiveness of measures to implement anti-corruption policies.

However, the issue of measuring corruption, as well as monitoring and evaluating the implementation of anti-corruption policy, requires consideration of various tools and methods, which is one of the priority areas of the Institute’s activities.
