Trainings in Nookat District of Osh Region “Civic Engagement in Preventing Corruption at the Grassroots”

In Nookat District of Osh Region the first series of trainings “Civic Engagement in Preventing Corruption at the Grassroots”, organized by the Central Asian Research Institute on Corruption and Money Laundering under the USAID project “Ukuk Bulagy”, implemented by the East-West Management Institute (EWMI), has been completed.The theme of the training was “Civic Activism, Leadership and Effective Cooperation at the Grassroots”. Participants discussed the principles of the rule of law, mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability of public authorities, considered the development of critical thinking and civic activism.In this way, the first series of trainings organized in Sverdlovsk, Ton, and Nookat districts came to its completion.We thank our participants for their willingness to grow and make positive changes in society.
