The next stage of training for representatives of civil society institutions to promote anti-corruption initiatives is taking place in Talas.
The best experts in the field of combating corruption in Kyrgyzstan, Tilek Sayakbaev and Ali Toktakunov, explain the essence of corruption, share mechanisms for combating it, increase knowledge about access to information, and also carry out practical work to inculcate skills in fact-checking and public monitoring of public procurement. The trainings discuss the impact of corruption on quality of life, the environment and gender. The participants jointly develop mechanisms for combating corruption at the local level and offer new ways to solve problems.
The training is carried out within the framework of the project “Improving the capacity of civil society institutions on combating corruption in the Kyrgyz Republic and creating a Coalition of organizations to promote anti-corruption initiatives” with the financial support of the Democratic Commission of the US Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
