Trainings in Ton district

The third series of trainings “Advocacy Skills, Fundraising and Project Development to Promote Anti-Corruption Initiatives at the Local Level” within the project “Civic Engagement in Preventing Corruption at the Local Level”, implemented with the support of the USAID project “Ukuk Bulagy”, ended in Ton District.At the training, participants had the opportunity to gain skills in identifying problems, developing anti-corruption initiatives, fundraising, advocacy campaigns, and learning about the mechanisms of effective interaction with government agencies and local authorities. The remarkable trainers Gulgaky Mamasalieva and Zhyldyz Duyshenova shared their expert knowledge and unique experience with the participants.Local civil society representatives and activists intend to use the knowledge they gained to develop their own projects to promote anti-corruption initiatives.A round table was also organized with the invitation of the leadership of the district administration to discuss the mechanisms of interaction between state bodies and representatives of civil society institutions on the promotion of anti-corruption initiatives.
