13.09.2022

The Central Asian Research Institute on Corruption and Money Laundering within the framework of USAID project “Ukuk Bulagy”, implemented by the East-West Management Institute (EWMI), launched the training “Civic Activism, Leadership and Effective Cooperation at the Grassroots” within the project “Civic Engagement in Preventing Corruption at the Grassroots” The first day of the training discussed the rule of law, the importance of citizen engagement with state and local governments, and mechanisms to strengthen relationships. One of the fascinating moments of the first day were team-building exercises, where participants got to know each other better and were able to perform tasks that required team decisions together. Two similarly intense days of training are ahead, where participants will be able to discuss mechanisms for ensuring transparency and accountability of government agencies.
