Series of training in Osh and Jalal-abad

The Central Asian Research Institute on Corruption and Money Laundering conducted two-day trainings in Osh and Jalal-Abad to increase the capacity of representatives of civil society institutions.
At the event, the participants expanded their knowledge on corruption issues, got acquainted with the mechanisms for counteracting it, and also carried out practical work to acquire the skills of fact-checking and public monitoring of public procurement. The trainings discussed the problem of nepotism and conflict of interest in the state and municipal service, as well as the impact of corruption on the development of the state as a whole.
The training is carried out within the framework of the project “Improving the capacity of civil society institutions on combating corruption in the Kyrgyz Republic and creating a Coalition of organizations to promote anti-corruption initiatives” with the financial support of the Democratic Commission of the US Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
