“Investigation of corruption crimes in the Kyrgyz Republic”. Guest lecture by Bakyt Kakeshov.

Corruption has become the most dangerous social pandemic in our society. Corruption among individuals, with authority has led to an inevitable and catastrophic decline of trust in the state form the side of citizens. At the same time, corruption leads not only to the undermining of the foundations of state functioning, but also brings discord into public relations. A striking example is the high-profile corruption scandals in recent years in our country.

The guest lecture of Bakyt Kakeshov-Candidate of Law, colonel was accompanied by heated discussions and critical questions of the audience. It should be noted that his research is devoted to the issues of criminal law and criminological measures to prevent corruption in the judicial system.

During the lecture, he shared the practical features of the procedural and investigative actions carried out at different stages of the investigation of corruption crimes, as well as the problematic situations that arise in criminal cases of bribery.

The issues of legislation in the field of criminal justice, the main gaps that cause additional corruption risks in the course of the investigation and legal proceedings were also discussed.
