The right to access information. Data disclosure and analysis (fact checking)

Training course (module) “The right to access information. Data Disclosure and Analysis ”was developed in accordance with the curriculum for students of the one-year academic anti-corruption certified program. The study of the course contributes to a more complete assimilation of the general professional and special disciplines of the Program and is one of the basic subjects necessary for understanding the current and future problems of anti-corruption policy.

The need to teach the course “Right to Access to Information. Data Disclosure and Analysis “at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the preparation of certified specialists is determined by the fact that the right to access information is one of the fundamental directions of the anti-corruption policy of the modern information society, which is especially important in the era of digital transformation and the Year announced by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. regional development and digitalization, as well as the ongoing policy to eradicate systemic corruption in public authorities.

The training course (module) is a collection of the most important knowledge, theories and ideas about the legal regulation of relations arising in the process of creating, collecting, storing, transforming, disseminating, consuming and protecting information.

This course is designed to provide students with a complex of modern knowledge about information and information resources as objects of legal regulation; to form their knowledge of the legal rules governing information relations; to reveal the role and place of information in the development of society; to form the skills of searching, collecting and processing information according to the method of data analysis.
