Module “International Standards and National Legal and Institutional Framework for Combating Corruption”

Understanding the international nature of corruption and its transnational significance requires the adoption of global measures to prevent the threat it poses to the security of the entire global community. Dinara Asanbayeva, senior lecturer at the American University of Central Asia, delivers a lecture on “International Standards and National Legal and Institutional Frameworks for Fighting Corruption,” which looks at international standards for preventing corruption. Students also gain knowledge of how to implement international standards in the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The academic anti-corruption certification program is implemented in cooperation with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic with the financial support of the Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan.
