Researcher at the University of Bologna. Co-founder of the international network of corruption researchers (www.ICRNetwork.org) and development consultant ACREC. She defended her doctoral dissertation at the Institute for Development and Peace of the University of Duesburg-Essen, Germany (INEF, Universität Duisburg-Essen). The sphere of scientific interests is political corruption in hybrid regimes, as well as methods and theories of interdisciplinary corruption research. She received her Master’s degree in Political Science, Public Law and Anthropology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München University of Munich, Germany. Oksana Gus has been a researcher at Leiden University, University of Toronto and a consultant to UNODC, UNESCO, EU and Council of Europe.
