The Central Asian Institute for the Research of Corruption and Laundering of Revenues as part of the USAID project “Ukuk Bulagi”, the Est-West Management Institute (EWMI) has started the training “Civil activism, leadership and effective cooperation at the local level” as part of the project “Civil Participation of Corruption at the Local level”. On the first day of the training, they discussed issues of the first day of training. The supremacy of law, the importance of the interaction of citizens with state bodies and local self -government bodies, as well as the mechanisms for strengthening relationships. One of the fascinating moments of the first day was the exercises in command construction, where the participants recognized each other closer, managed to complete the tasks requiring command solutions. There are two such saturated training days ahead, where participants will be able to discuss mechanisms for ensuring transparency and accountability of state bodies.
