In connection with the initiation of the draft law “On voluntary legalization and amnesty of assets of individuals” and “On amendments to some legislative acts of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of voluntary declaration and amnesty of individual assets”, the network of corruption of Kyrgyzstan (hereinafter referred to as the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zhogorku Kenesh about the inadmissibility of his further consideration in connection with the inherent high corruption risks.

Today, representatives of the SEC took part in the parliamentary hearings on the discussion of the proposed bills, where they expressed their firm position to reject the consideration of these bills in connection with their inconsistency with the internal legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, adopted by international obligations under the UN rated, the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, the Convention Recommendations of FATF, OECR and EAG, as well as entailing serious threats to the country, in case of adoption.

Representatives of the corruption chain of corruption express concern and urge the relevant state bodies to finalize the proposed bills taking into account the proposals and recommendations from representatives of civil society institutions.
