The work of the 10th session of the conference of the States-participants of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (COSP10) ended. The first in the entire history of COSP, the participation of civil society institutions was given important importance. And we are greatly proudly celebrating the participation of the Central Asian Institute for Research of Corruption and Laundering of income in this historical event. The 10th Conference of the State Participation States (COSP) of the United Nations Against Corruption (UNCAC) Convention was held in the United States of America. This is an important event in which strategies for the implementation of the Convention and the strengthening of the commitment of the international community to prevent corruption and the fight against it are discussed. Kluchery topics and participants: COSP gathered representatives of 190 member states of the CPC of the UN, as well as interested parties from international organizations, civil society, young leaders and the private sector. The cooperation of law enforcement agencies in order to return assets: the main area of COSP in the United States was the strengthening of interaction and cooperation between law enforcement agencies and the prosecutor's office participating in the return of assets. The strategic approach was aimed at ensuring that income from corruption is legally returned to their legal owners, which marks a significant step towards justice. The mocking role of civil society: recognizing that the governments cannot fight corruption alone, the United States supported the active participation of civil society in the work of COSP. COSP has provided another opportunity to emphasize the invaluable experience and knowledge that civil society brings. The first international, large-scale anti-corruption forum of civil society in history was organized, which contributed to the dialogue between member states, civil society, scientific circles and other interested parties. Financial transparency and honesty: a number of documents have been discussed and adopted at the conference to strengthen measures that contribute to financial transparency and conscientiousness. Promoting responsibility and termination of impunity: Accounting and termination of impunity are the central principles of combating corruption. The deprivation of corrupt shelter entities and the return of their illegal income became an important topic of the conference. Another significant event for our institute was the organization of the event (Side-Event) and the presentation of the work of the Eurasian Academic Anti-Corruption Network (Eurasian Academic Anti-Corruption Network) and the activities of our institute, together with ACREC and the Academy of Economic Research of Moldova. In the place we are moving to build a world free from corruption!
