Alyona became the CEO at Transparency International Russia in exile in February 2025. Before that she coordinated anti-corruption education at the same NGO from 2010, was a lecturer and manager of several universities.
She holds Master’s in Jurisprudence from the St. Petersburg Public University (Russia) and has twenty years of experience in teaching, research, educational management, project development and monitoring
She is an organizer, host, and speaker of more than 300 anti-corruption events, the author of dozens of papers on issues related to sustainable development, good governance, anti-corruption strategies, civil society. Alyona is a participant of several research and socially significant projects. She also implemented a training program on anti-corruption compliance for women-entrepreneurs in several Russian regions and created an educational program for schoolchildren and teachers.
She participated in anti-corruption internships in Sweden, Iceland, Norway, USA, Poland and was invited as an expert on gender aspects of corruption and anti-corruption policy by UNDP.
