For the first time in Kyrgyzstan, a master’s program “Effective Governance and Anti-Corruption”, which is an innovative educational initiative, is launched. The program is developed by the Central Asian Research Institute on Corruption and Money Laundering together with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of the project “Strengthening People-Centered Anti-Corruption and Accountability Efforts in the Kyrgyz Republic” with technical support from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP)The goal of the program is to train highly qualified experts in the field of anti-corruption and assist in the effective implementation of the country’s anti-corruption policy.The program includes both theoretical study of modern methods of public administration and anti-corruption, and the acquisition of practical skills, such as conducting anti-corruption expertise, analyzing corruption risks, and developing programs and projects to combat corruption and money laundering.Kyrgyzstan is creating a holistic system of training anti-corruption specialists who will be able to actively implement anti-corruption measures in different areas of activity.
