The second day of the “Youth Leader Academy” has ended. The participants learned about the history of elections, types of electoral systems, discussed problems related to electoral corruption, got acquainted with the activities of the CEC and changes in the country’s electoral legislation.
The second half of the day was devoted to the topic “Psychology of electoral behavior”, aimed at studying the socio-psychological mechanisms of the formation of anti-corruption behavior in the electoral process. Also, during the training, personal attitudes and qualities that influence the course of the electoral process were considered, which in turn determines the peculiarities of the development of society.
The day ended with the contest-quiz “Kahoot”, which allowed the participants to consolidate their knowledge, and the winners received prizes and a lot of positive emotions!
The event is held within the framework of the “Electoral Rights Fest” week dedicated to the International Youth Day and is held in partnership with the Representative Office of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems in the Kyrgyz Republic (IFES) with the support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID)
