07.06.2022

On May 18, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic hosted a conference on the topic “Challenges and prospects for anti-corruption activities in the Kyrgyz Republic”, dedicated to the implementation of the academic anti-corruption certified program. The event was attended by experts in the field of combating corruption, state and municipal employees, ex-deputies and representatives of civil society institutions. Graduates of the academic anti-corruption certified program presented their original research. The projects presented by the audience were discussed in panel discussions in three areas: “Reducing corruption risks in state bodies”, “Anti-corruption education as a mechanism for preventing corruption”, “Mechanisms for promoting anti-corruption initiatives in society”. At the end of the event, students of the academic anti-corruption certified program were awarded certificates on successful completion. The expert community on the prevention of corruption in Kyrgyzstan is replenishing its ranks. Such events cannot but rejoice. The more people are involved in the process of combating corruption, the less the risk of its manifestation. We are on the way to a developed, fair, corruption-free Kyrgyzstan. On behalf of our entire team, we express our deep gratitude to our key partners – the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan, our international and national teachers, everyone who contributed to the implementation of the academic anti-corruption certified program.
