On May 16 and 17, a final conference was held in Bishkek within the framework of the project “Improving the capacity of civil society institutions on combating corruption in the Kyrgyz Republic and creating a civil society network to promote anti-corruption initiatives”, which was attended by representatives of civil society institutions from all regions of the country. The first day was devoted to the topic of leadership and team building. International business coach Lilia Utyusheva conducted a training on personal and team development, motivation management, team work technologies and coaching tools. The participants held teamwork, discussed corruption problems, ways to solve them and mechanisms for promoting anti-corruption initiatives. There were also guest lectures by international and national experts. Thus, James M. Wright, an expert on combating money laundering, spoke about the interaction of civil society institutions in preventing corruption using the Anticorruption Advocacy Network as an example; Anna Zubenko, co-chair of the Civil Union “For Reforms and Results”, spoke about the importance of civil society in promoting reforms and shared her experience in promoting the initiative to reform state bodies (MVD) through civil society, as well as an expert in evidence-based medicine, chairman of the Medical Trade Union of Kyrgyzstan Bermet Baryktabasova shared the results of studies on corruption in medicine and a story about the importance of the role of civil society in preventing corruption in the healthcare system. Participants who implemented anti-corruption initiatives shared the results of their implementation: “Let’s say no to corruption together! Green light for law and law” (Feruza Amadaliyeva), “Crime among youth” (Tynymseit uulu Esentur), “Development of an information section “On the fight against corruption in the healthcare system of the Kyrgyz Republic” on the website of the medical trade union of the Kyrgyz Republic” (Bermet Baryktabasova). The most important The highlight of the two-day meeting was the discussion of the strategy and further functioning of the Corruption Prevention Network. Each participant expressed their firm intention to join the work of the Network. At the end of the meeting, representatives of civil society institutions and civil activists signed a Charter on partnership and cooperation in the field of preventing corruption. support of the Democratic Commission of the US Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
