Within the framework of the Master’s program “Good Governance and Anti-Corruption” of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic guest lectures were held by representatives of the Ministry of Justice and the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic.Azimzhanova Gulnara Kadyrovna , Commissioner for Corruption Prevention of the Department of Analytics and Digitalization of the Situation Center of the Ministry of Justice, spoke on the topic: “Digitalization as a tool to prevent corruption in the system of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic”. She spoke in detail about how modern digital technologies increase the transparency of processes, minimize the human factor and contribute to the effective fight against corruption risks in the justice system.Rezanova Tatiana Yurevna, Senior Prosecutor of the Main Department for Anti-Corruption and Law Enforcement Supervision of the General Prosecutor’s Office, presented a lecture on “The Role of the Prosecutor’s Office in Anti-Corruption and Law Enforcement Supervision in the Kyrgyz Republic”. The expert emphasized the key areas of work of the Prosecutor’s Office related to the detection of corruption schemes, ensuring legality and transparency in state bodies.The guest lecture allowed master’s students to familiarize themselves with the ongoing work on corruption prevention in these state bodies.The Master’s program is implemented by the Central Asian Research Institute on Corruption and Money Laundering in cooperation with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of the UNDP project “Strengthening People-Centered Anti-Corruption and Accountability Efforts in the Kyrgyz Republic”, with financial support of the United States Department of State.This project is aimed at strengthening transparency and accountability of government structures, supporting civic participation and introducing human rights-oriented anti-corruption mechanisms. An important goal of the project is to strengthen the interaction of civil society institutions with government agencies on corruption prevention.
