“Data Disclosure and Analysis” (Fact checking)

Participants of the academic anti-corruption certified program began to study the module “Data Disclosure and Analysis” (Fact checking). The trainers are the best experts in this field – Ali Toktakunov and Bolot Temirov, who successfully conduct investigative journalism and fact-checking in the Kyrgyz Republic and have achieved significant results in this activity.

This module will give the listeners a set of knowledge about information and information resources, will form the skills of searching, collecting, processing and analyzing information. The audience was introduced to techniques for identifying “trolls” and “bots”, which have become a serious problem in social networks, as well as tools for conducting journalistic investigations using google, yandex search engines, google maps and google earth applications, and others. And this is just the beginning, listeners are ahead will be able to familiarize themselves with a variety of interesting and useful materials aimed at forming the principles of fact-checking, information verification and the logic of investigative work.
