Master’s students enrolled in the area of “Effective Governance and Anti-Corruption” started studying the course “Anti-Corruption Policy. Management of anti-corruption programs and projects”, which is conducted by experts Aina Mamytova and Tilek Sayakbaev. This course is aimed at studying the basics of anti-corruption policy and tools for managing anti-corruption programs and projects.Students learn techniques for developing, implementing and evaluating anti-corruption programs. Special attention is paid to practical methods of analyzing corruption risks, implementing control and monitoring systems, and creating conditions for transparency and accountability in public authorities.Master’s students study how the project approach can improve the effectiveness of anti-corruption program implementation, ensuring sustainability of implemented solutions and promoting long-term changes in governance.The course “Anti-Corruption Policy. Management of anti-corruption programs and projects” is an opportunity for students to gain the knowledge and practical tools necessary to develop effective solutions to prevent corruption and improve anti-corruption programs in public authorities. The Master’s program is implemented by the Central Asian Research Institute on Corruption and Money Laundering in cooperation with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of the UNDP project “Strengthening People-Centered Anti-Corruption and Accountability Efforts in the Kyrgyz Republic”, with financial support of the United States Department of State..This project is aimed at strengthening transparency and accountability of government structures, supporting civic participation and introducing human rights-oriented anti-corruption mechanisms. An important goal of the project is to strengthen the interaction of civil society institutions with government agencies on corruption prevention.
